                        Pre-School 2012-2013

     Applications will be accepted beginning March 1, 2012.

The Community School is offering a either a 4 or 5 day Pre-K program;  2 1/2 hours in the afternoon from 12:00-2:30 PM.  Tiny Tots Program would continue in the afternoon for 2 hours from 12:15-2:15 PM.  The programs would run either Monday through Thursday or Monday through Friday.  All children must be toilet trained.

TINY TOTS PRE-K FOR 2 ½ -3 YEAR OLDS

This program is geared for children who miss the October 1 cut off date. Children must be 2 ½ by October 1, 2012 (born in April 2010 or earlier) to register for this program.  This program runs Monday through Thursday  or Monday through Friday (if sufficient enrollment) from 12:15-2:15 PM (2 hours).  There is a limit of 15 children in this class with a teacher and aide.  Classes run from September through June.

Children will be introduced to a variety of school experiences designed to stimulate curiosity, encourage exploration and develop patterns of thinking.  Make your child’s introduction to the school environment a fun experience. Our NJ Certified teacher will make learning fun focusing on many hands-on activities including arts, crafts and music.


                       PRE-SCHOOL FOR 3 AND 4 YEAR OLDS 

This program is geared for children that turn 3 or 4 prior to October 1, 2012. 

The 3 year old class runs Monday through Thursday or Monday through Friday
from 9:15 AM-11:15 AM (2 hours) or from 12:00-2:30 PM (2 ½ hours).
            

The 4 year old class runs Monday through Thursday or Monday through Friday 
from 9:15 AM-11:15 AM (2 hours) or 
from 12:00-2:30 PM (2 ½ hours).

Each class has a limit of 22 children.  We have a teacher and aide per class.

5 day programs will only run with sufficient enrollment.


Our programs are committed to offering children a variety of school experiences
designed to stimulate curiosity, encourage exploration and develop patterns of thinking in children.  The total program is responsive to the needs of the young child so they will be able to plan, organize and implement ideas on their own.

 Our curriculum focuses on the following objectives:  developing a positive self-image;
enhancing physical growth and development; fostering social and emotional growth
and learning specific basic skills and concepts.  We will explore science and geography along with other cultures.

 All of our teachers are NJ State Certified.  There are also computers in each classroom.  We also have special programs for the children such as a 911 safety program, recycling programs, special holiday programs.   For further information, please stop by the office to see our classes and talk to our teachers or call us at 201-291-0137.

        Tuition Rates 4 day program
Tuitons will be prorated for children beginning after September.

 2 hour classes $1638/year plus $195 non-refundalbe registration fee.
2 1/2 hour classes - $2061/year plus $195 non-refundable registration fee.
          Tuition Rates 5 day program
 2 hour classes $2043/year plus $195 non-refundable registration fee.
2 1/2 hour classes- $2628/year plust $195 non-refundable registration fee.

                         Please print application and bring to Saddle Brook  Community School offices at 225 Market Street                                         with Immunization Records, copy of child's birth certificate or passport and Registration fee.
