2011 – 2012 District Goals
The board adopts district-wide goals and performance measures that reflect that highest priority is given to student achievement
- Improve student achievement by providing enhanced learning opportunities to address individual learning needs and talents
- Continue initiatives to enhance student safety and well-being, and improve school climate
- Improve community communications, and awareness of the challenges and accomplishments of the district through an on-going, well-defined process
2011 – 2012 Board Goals
Board goals constitute a professional development improvement plan directed towards increasing knowledge and skills in policy making and governance for members of the board
- Successful settlement of the teachers’ contract
- Complete the evaluation of options, and possible implementation of a school uniform policy
- Improve board performance through additional training opportunities
