The writers and "true believers" of the Unicorn assemble to share writing from their portfolios, journals, notebooks, and to collaborate on styles followed as a group. Writers are also kept up to date on the latest writing trends and styles, practicing and harboring the skills needed to grow into diverse writers. This isn't your mother's poetry book, as students tackle an array of different assignments: second person narratives, Dear John's, concrete poetry, microfiction - the list goes on. These after school writing sessions culminate in the compilation, editing, and publication of "The Unicorn" in May, the words of which echo throughout the years.

New members are always welcome and encouraged to stop by any Unicorn meeting or to contact Mr. Garvey and Mr. Millan for more information.
